Mission Statement
‘Veduta’ is a word from the world of Italian art; it means 'to see the sweep and beauty of the world around you through new eyes.'
When you learn to see yourself in a new way, you gain a clearer vision of the possibilities that lie ahead.
When you gain new knowledge and skills, the landscape of your life becomes illuminated around you.
Veduta Consulting exists to help our clients gain this vision of themselves, and this perspective on their lives, through expert counseling, higher education and professional training. With this new vision, you will be able to leave problems and obstacles behind, and follow the path that takes you forward into a better life.
The Client Experience at Veduta
A New Personal Vision
Veduta provides caring, expert personal counseling.

From improving your daily life to treating anxiety, depression or other serious, diagnosed mental health symptoms, Veduta provides the individual counseling you need to help you find your way.
A New Career Vision
Whether you are just starting out in the world of work, looking to change jobs, or ready to build on your career success, Veduta’s highly trained and experienced career counselors can help. A New Couples Vision
Veduta offers compassionate, discreet counseling for couples.
Regardless of age or orientation, all relationships have good times and bad ones. A trained, caring counselor can help you learn to communicate constructively, build trust in one another, and enhance or restore your intimacy and sexuality. From how to be closer to your partner to understanding and accepting the differences between you, Veduta’s counselors are here to help.
“I chose the name ‘Veduta’ because it means a new vision, or a new way of seeing things. I’d like to explain to you – simply and clearly - what that really means, and why I believe it’s so important.
Here’s an example for you: Maybe you wanted to ride a bike when you were a kid. You might not remember, but that was a big problem at the time, because it really is impossible to ride a bike – until you learn how.
You have to learn, and the best way to learn is with someone to teach you. That’s where education and counseling come in. (I’ve worked as a Counselor Educator my whole career, so I think counseling and education are pretty important.) You need someone to show you how, someone to put the training wheels on your bike, and, just as important, someone who knows when to take them off. You probably got a few scrapes and bruises along the way, but riding a bike stopped being impossible. It got less scary, and turned into something you could try, and practice, and learn.
And then, one day, you could ride a bike.
In that moment, an amazing change happens. All of a sudden, riding a bike is fun, you look forward to it, and it opens up a whole new world of friends and places to go with them.
The bike didn’t change. The pavement didn’t change. What changed was how you see those things; they went from an impossible problem to a brilliant opportunity. And that’s what Veduta means – a new way of seeing, a new vision.”
