Dr. Giordano has a great deal of experience designing, developing and implementing online education. She has written curriculum, designed courses, taught online and worked with educational technology developers to produce innovative, effective online content. Whether you need an entire online curriculum or a single training program, Dr. Giordano can help you create it, from concept to implementation and online delivery.

What was a ‘talking head’ lecture is now an active round-table discussion, mixing scripted and spontaneous content from working educators. Students uniformly find this format more engaging and accessible, and an effective learning tool.

Behavioral Health Policy & Procedure

If your agency or practice struggles to keep up with all the various indirect services you need, Veduta can help.

We offer diagnostic training and supervision for counselors and other mental health staff, including online counseling and supervision. We can help you develop the treatment policies and procedures you need to reduce your paperwork load. We teach strategies for documenting treatment including diagnosis, treatment planning and case note writing.

We are proud to offer specific expertise in mental health ethics and multicultural counseling training, including cultural competencies, ethics and supervision, specifically designed to meet the CE needs and licensure requirements of your agency, large or small.

We will provide this training in the format you need, from individual or small group consultation to large groups and workshops.

Psychoeducation and Advocacy

Veduta Consulting is committed to community service. We offer expert community-level education services, in partnership with a broad variety of community-based organizations, including non-profits, religious institutions, and schools. We also offer counseling and other direct services to individual clients from high-need, low-resourced populations, in cooperation with service-oriented non-profits, professional associations and other community-based groups. We are proud of our work with local leaders, including clergy, school principals and teachers, helping them develop training and classes responsive to their unique needs. We understand that there are many obstacles to learning and healing, and we believe that through indigenous leadership, adult education, and advocacy, people can organize and empower themselves to overcome them.

Group Treatment

Veduta Consulting offers expert group therapy and support group treatment. Our highly trained group therapists and facilitators aid clients in substance use recovery, relationship challenges, building self-esteem, coping with loss, and many other issues, including mental health concerns.

We believe that you, the members and leaders of your community, are your own best resource in solving the problems that confront you. Veduta’s experts in group counseling and group process will provide the tools and guidance you need to find your own, authentic answers and solutions.

Presentations and Workshops

From a quick presentation to multiple-day workshops, Veduta Consulting can offer everything you need. Our staff can create and deliver the information and training you need on a broad variety of social and community-related subjects. These include mental health concerns, ranging from general awareness to specific symptoms, and from couples conflicts to individual stress management techniques. We have particular expertise in relationship and identity issues, including bi-racial couples and LBGTQ. Our workshops on depression and anxiety are highly rated and very successful, teaching friends and family members how to recognize these symptoms in their loved ones, and how they can help. Veduta Consulting also offers employment and career presentations and workshops. Our job-service strategy works in tandem with community-based career services, to open the path to success.
